It was an Avett Brothers Friday in Chicago as the band took the big stage at Northerly Island at night and treated a lucky group of XRT listeners to an intimate Live From Studio X set at Goose Island earlier in the afternoon.

Mixing songs from their upcoming album Closer Than Together along with old favorites, The Avett Brothers showed why they're one of the most versatile groups in music giving the audience the chance to dance and stomp their feet and bask in the soul-stirring songwriting that's made the Avett's so beloved.
