The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office searched the home of former Windsor Mayor Dominic Foppoli on Nov. 10 in the ongoing sexual assault investigation against him.

Several items were obtained during the search of Foppoli's Merlot Way home, according to the warrant the sheriff’s office provided KCBS Radio, including three iPads, two laptops, a cellphone, a recording device, a camera, a USB drive, and miscellaneous DVDs and CDs.

Along with the house, the search included Foppoli's two vehicles, a red Ford and a white Tesla.

The items seized were classified as "evidence that tends to show a felony was committed," according to the warrant.

The search conducted on Nov. 10 only took a couple of hours, Sgt. Juan Valencia told KCBS Radio at the time of the raid.

Foppoli stepped down from his position as mayor of Windsor in May after a San Francisco Chronicle investigation revealed as many as nine women have accused Foppoli of various crimes of sexual assault.

His alleged crimes date as far back as 2002 and are as recent as this March, and include accounts of rape, groping, and other crimes.

Foppoli was replaced in June by Vice Mayor Sam Salmon.
