
A small earthquake gently rattled the East Bay early Wednesday.
The magnitude 2.8 quake struck at 1:49 a.m., three-and-a-half miles from San Ramon. The United States Geological Survey reported that the quake was centered near Eden Canyon Rd., north of Interstate 280, at a depth of 4.4 miles.
There have been no reported injuries or damage.
This quake follows the magnitude 3.9 earthquake that struck just outside of San Leandro on Tuesday, felt across the Bay Area.
