Magnitude 2.9 earthquake shakes Pinnacles National Park

A magnitude 2.9 earthquake shook an area just east of Pinnacles National Park on Sunday afternoon.

The earthquake struck at 4:45 p.m., said the U.S. Geological Survey. It was centered about 7.5 miles east of State Route 25 in the Gabilan Mountain Range in San Benito County.

The depth was estimated at 1.5 miles.

There were no reports of any damage or injuries.
