An man's body was recovered from the Oakland Estuary on Tuesday morning, police said in a statement to KCBS Radio.
It was found just before 10:30 a.m. in the Tidal Canal on the Oakland side of the Park St. Bridge near the Fruitvale District.

It was not immediately clear how the unidentified man died.
The death remains under investigation, authorities added.
