This one's a prowler of a different kind.

A San Bruno resident got quite the scare early Tuesday when a mountain lion broke into their home, apparently interested in "several large game taxidermy heads" mounted on the walls.

The incident happened at about 12:20 a.m. in the 200 block of Ross Way, San Bruno Police said. The animal broke through a glass window and was scared off by the homeowner.

It wasn’t located despite an extensive check of the area. No one was hurt.

Officials said this type of incident "is out of the ordinary."

If anyone in the San Bruno area sees a mountain lion, they’re asked to call authorities.
