Napa County hit with 3.6-magnitude quake and subsequent smaller tremors

There have been a number of small earthquakes in Napa County this morning, beginning with a magnitude of 3.6 followed by five smaller tremors, all under magnitude 2.0.

According to the United States Geological Survey the 3.6 magnitude quake struck at 12:36 a.m. with a depth of nearly 3 feet.

The earthquake hit at around 12:36 a.m. and was centered 7.6 miles east-southeast of Angwin, 17.5 miles north of Napa and 19.4 miles north-northeast of Sonoma, the USGS said.

All quakes struck in the same general area.

There were no reports of damage.
