A pair of early morning shootings in San Francisco claimed the lives of two men Saturday.
At 12:23 a.m., after responding to calls of a shooting on Navy Rd., Bayview officers found a 24-year-old male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The San Francisco resident was transported by paramedics to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The second call was made to the San Francisco Police Department’s Tenderloin Station at 4 a.m., with a report of a shooting on the 500 block of Eddy St.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male sustaining gunshot wounds. An ambulance transported the victim to a local hospital, but the gunshot wounds proved fatal and he was later pronounced deceased.
The shootings are currently under investigation by homicide detectives and are considered unrelated. There have been no further details regarding the motive or circumstance of the shootings released by investigators.
