Three of KCBS Radio's on-air reporters have been honored this year by the Alliance for Women in Media's 47th annual Gracie Awards.

KCBS Radio has won a Gracie for its "I'm Listening" program, featuring reporting and producing by Keith Menconi, Kathy Novak and Jenna Lane
Novak won for her piece in September 2021 for National Suicide Prevention Month, covering San Francisco's new Street Crisis Response Team, an initiative to provide a non-police response for those in mental health crises.
Menconi won for a contribution to the station's In Depth podcast for Audacy's annual, national "I'm Listening," campaign, which promotes awareness about suicide prevention and mental health.
Menconi's segment covered the mental health support provided to the community at the VTA rail yard in San Jose following the May 26th mass shooting.
Lane's winning segment also aired as part of the "I'm Listening" campaign on In Depth, covering the effects that the surge in Anti-Asian hate, had on the Bay Area's Asian-American community.
All three have received the honor before, Menconi for another past "I'm Listening" segment.
KCBS Radio won two awards in 2019 for coverage of the tragic Camp Fire.
The Gracie Awards are presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation every year to recognize "exemplary programming created by women, for women and about women in all facets of media and entertainment," according to the organization's website.
