Who is winning other statewide offices in California?

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – Here’s the results for statewide races in California this midterm election season. Check back for updates.

Governor: Incumbent Democrat Gavin Newsom beat Republican challenger Brian Dahle, according to the Associated Press.

Lieutenant Governor: Democrat Eleni Kounalakis was winning (55%) against Republican Angela E. Underwood Jacobs (45%).

Secretary of State: Democrat Shirley N. Weber was winning against Republican Rob Bernosky.

Controller: Democrat Malia M. Cohen was winning against Republican Lanhee J. Chen.

Treasurer: Democrat Fiona Ma was winning against Republican Jack M. Guerrero.

Attorney General: Democrat Rob Bonta was winning against Republican Nathan Hochman.

Insurance Commissioner: Democrat Ricardo Lara was winning against Republican Robert Howell.

Superintendent of Public Instruction: Tony K. Thurmond was winning against Lance Ray Christensen.

U.S. Senate: Democrat Alex Padilla was winning against Republican Mark P. Meuser. Democrat Rep. Nancy Pelosi, current speaker of the House, also won re-election.

Voters in California weighed in on a number of ballot measures. As of Tuesday evening, a ballot measure for the Constitutional Right to Reproductive Freedom had more than 70% approval.
