Several Bay Area locals have won COVID-19 vaccination rewards in the final “Vax for the Win” lottery.
On July 1, California’s vaccine incentive program gave away the last six "California dream vacations." The lucky winners are residents from Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties.
The vacation destinations included seeing the Giants play in San Francisco, enjoying a spa in Palm Springs and saying hi to Mickey in Anaheim’s Disneyland.
Even though this was the last round of "golden state getaways," select vaccination sights are giving away tickets to any Six Flags Park in California. There is a limited supply of tickets, so the state is encouraging people to get vaccinated at a participating clinic before supplies run out.
