Iconic Yosemite Falls is booming again following a huge weekend storm that blasted Northern California and set records for rain totals.
The waterfall – located in the heart of Yosemite Valley – was listed as dry as recently as last week on Yosemite National Park's website. But that wasn't the case beginning on Sunday, as water was first spotted gushing over the side of the 2,400-foot falls again in a video shared on Twitter by @TerraNovaSierra.

The park's Yosemite Falls webcam showed the falls continuing to flow on Tuesday.

Yosemite Falls typically peaks in early summer, much to the delight of millions of tourists that flock from all corners of the Earth to marvel at the powerful attraction. The weather system dropped several inches of rain in Yosemite and is thought to have dumped several feet of snow across the Sierra Nevada.
The atmospheric river storm also forced temporary closures of two of Yosemite's main arteries.
