
PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Governor Tom Wolf and his administration have announced their investments to improve 12 airports around the state, including Pittsburgh International Airport and Arnold Palmer Regional Airport.
The investment is being covered by PennDOT and will reach $10million.
Pittsburgh International will receive $2.4million in funds for the continued work on its commercial air cargo facility development.
This includes air cargo buildings, aircraft and vehicular access, and parking.
Arnold Palmer Regional in Westmorland County will be receiving $450,000 for multiple improvements to be made to the terminal building.
The improvements include informational signage and the construction of an aircraft deicing fluid containment facility.
