
With more than 47 million Americans traveling over the 4th of July holiday weekend, there are bound to be delays.
Among those travelers, AAA says drivers will have it worse than others thanks to the mix of people leaving work early and those hitting the road for a getaway.
Delays for motorists from Thursday through Monday are expected to double in some areas throughout the country.
Driving in Boston and San Francisco - you may see delays three times longer than normal according to AAA.
The motor club, along with data analytics company INRIX, put together a list of the best and worst travel times for the holiday weekend, broken out by the day of the week.

Thursday, July 1 from 3pm to 5pm
Friday, July 2 from 4pm to 5pm
Saturday, July 3 from 11am to 1pm
Sunday, July 4 - free flowing
Monday, July 5 4pm to 5pm
Best Travel Times:
Thursday, July 1 after 7pm
