PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — The Allegheny County Health Department announced its newest COVID-19 update Friday.
Up through March 25, the county is reporting 586 new cases.
Of those 586 cases, 393 were confirmed out of 1,683 PCR tests, and 193 of the tests were designated as probable.
19 of the positives are older than a week, and 16 of those came from the same lab.
The newest batch of cases saw positives ranging from six months to 92 years old and a median age of 35 years old.
There were nine further reported deaths.
One of the decedents was in their 40s.
Four of the victims were in their 60s, one person was in their 70s, two were in their 80s, and one was in their 90s.

Since March 14, 2020, the Allegheny County Health Department has reported a total of 83,811 COVID-19 cases, 5,570 hospitalizations, and 1,759 deaths.
