PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) In the race between John Fetterman and Dr. Mehmet Oz, crime has become one of the biggest topics.
The two are battling for Pennsylvania's US Senate seat.
In an exclusive interview with the Big K Morning Show, Fetterman responded to claims that he is soft on crime.
It's been the main talking point between opponents Fetterman and Dr. Oz as the November 8th election approaches.
Oz claims that Fetterman won't crack down on crime, and wants to let violent criminals out of prison.
Fetterman tells the Big K morning show, his record as Braddock mayor says otherwise.
“I worked with the police department here in Braddock, and we addressed the gun violence,” Fetterman said. “I’m so proud of the fact, as mayor, we stopped the killings.”
