PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) When Santa Clause stops by Jaycee Amick's house this week she is in for quite the surprise. Just a few weeks ago we managed to get the big guy to pay a special visit to our girl at her home in Vandergrift, PA.
So you heard it in the Facebook Live video, she asked Santa for a Playstation 5. That is a difficult item to find and a pretty big ask, even for Santa. Well, just a few days later one of his elves reached out. Watch the video on this page to meet Heather Kucich and find out why she didn't hesitate to help out 'ol St. Nick with Jaycee's gift.
Now that Santa is set, we stopped in to visit Jayce and her mother, Marci, to deliver some other gifts. These are from a dear Griffin family friend, Elvira. She is amazingly talented and took it upon herself to make a couple of very special items for Jaycee. You can see them here in this next video:
Thanks to Elvira and Heather both for making this Christmas extra special for a special little girl who wasn't expected to be here beyond her birthday over the summer. Now it's up to the big guy to deliver the goods on Christmas day!
