Tiffany France doesn't smile as much as she used to, but she can still light up a room. Watch the video on this page to see my introduction to Tiffany and her husband Matt.
There's a reason she doesn't smile much these days. First of all, she's always in some sort of constant pain. Second, her cancer fight isn't over yet and frankly, she's worried about it.
Tiffany has a rare cancer called Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. According to her UPMC doctors, there are only about 1,200 cases each year.
Treatment consists of surgery to remove the tumor and radiation. Doctors had to remove part of Tiffany's jaw and the soft pallet, essentially the roof of her mouth, to remove a tumor. She's now preparing for radiation. This brings lots of fears about what's ahead and how it'll affect her and the rest of the family.
