Finishing out 2020 and ringing in 2021 just got a little better.
Sheetz is offering up free coffee each week in December and January, a change to it's traditional free coffee offerings at the holidays.
This year the program kicks off on Black Friday and customers with a MySheetz Card get one free coffee offer loaded into their account every Friday in December and through January 22, 2021.
In previous years, the convenience store chain gave away free coffee on Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
Sheetz says the change this year is to help avoid large crowds in stores so everyone can maintain proper social distancing as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
Earlier this year, Sheetz offered free coffee drinks to first responders and health care workers fighting the virus.
The free coffee promotion will be available at all 614 Sheetz locations. The company operates stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia.
