A man was caught taking a shower in an apartment that was not his Wednesday.
Bethel Park Police found 36-year-old Michael Stefcik in the apartment and took him into custody. The resident of the apartment did not know the man.
Police say Stefcik assaulted a number of officers while he was being arrested.
According to police, around 2am the man crashed his car in Upper St. Clair and he fled into Bethel Park.
Stefcik is alleged to have entered several unlocked vehicles before getting into the apartment building where he tried to get into more than 12 apartments.

The man is facing charges of Aggravated Assault, Criminal Trespass, and Resisting Arrest.
Police say additional charges may be filed in the future.
