The 15-year-old Oliver Citywide Academy student who was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon has been identified as Marquis Campbell, was shot in the chest, police said. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition where police said he died.
Police say it is unclear what the relationship between Campbell and the two suspects was but police believe he was targeted. Investigators confirm Campbell and the driver were the only two people in the van. The bus driver was not injured but was very upset about the situation. He cooperated with police and gave them any information he could.
Police are searching for the two suspects. They are considered armed and dangerous, but the only description police had available was that they were wearing masks and dark clothing and appeared to be younger.
