A local business that's been helping adults around Pittsburgh deal with hair loss issues for nearly fifty years has also been helping children with hair loss.
Since the pandemic started though, they haven't been able to meet kids in-person at UPMC Children's Hospital because of COVID-19 protocols.
Pat Julkowski started her Hair Halo program at Creative Hair Solutions.
Watch the video on this page to see Pat take Arianna Bazzy through what she and her team are doing and talk about the difficulties they're having getting to the children who need their help.

Before the pandemic, Pat tells Arianna that they would get to meet with the kids at UPMC Children's Hospital who are dealing with hair loss from various medical conditions.
That includes everything from cancer to alopecia. It's been more than two years since they've been able to meet with the kids to do proper fittings and talk about their different options.

While we're working with Pat on finding a solution, the only way they've been able to do them in-person is in their Reserve Township location or virtually which just isn't the same. But the help is still there and that's what Pat wants everyone to know.
