The North Hills DUI Task Force has announced a “DUI detail” will be conducted this coming weekend.
The detail will be conducted March 14-16 and will include police from Blawnox, Bradford Wood, Etna, Hampton, Indiana Township, Marshall Township, O’Hara Township, Pine Township, Richland Township, Ross, Shaler, West Deer, McCandless, West View, Millvale, Franklin Park and Aspinwall.
It’s a big party weekend with many people celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
Pittsburgh annual St. Patrick’s Parade is this Saturday Downtown and is one of the biggest drinking days of the year.
The North Hills DUI Task Force has conducted over 262 check point and roving patrols over the past 28 years.
1,069 people have been arrested as a result of the enforcement.
