
The man accused of killing one McKeesport police officer and injuring another earlier this week has officially been taken into custody.

31-year-old Johnathan Morris had been in the hospital since he was injured in a shootout with police Monday.
Officer Sean Sluganski was killed, while Officer Charles Thomas was injured.
Morris was taken into custody at the hospital and is now in the Allegheny County Jail.
Court documents show he was arraigned this afternoon and denied bail.
He's facing several charges, including criminal homicide and assault of a law enforcement officer.
He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing next week.
