Ballot and voter security are two big issues as people go to the polls Tuesday and a literal army of lawyers will be working election day in Pennsylvania to protect voters rights at the polls.

The Election Protection coalition wants to make sure the vote is fair and no voter is disenfranchised.

Attorney Vic Walczak says they're prepared for big issues like voter intimidation and challenges to mail-in ballots with an increased the number of lawyers recruited for Election Day.

He also says they're prepared in the event that there are "baseless challenges made inside the polling place, which would just drive up the lines even further."

The coalition, which is composed of 18 organizations ranging from the League of Women Voters and ACLU to lesser known groups like Keystone Votes, will have roughly 2,000 volunteers on the ground statewide Tuesday. That's four times the number they had in 2018.
