The Dr. Memhet Oz’s campaign is responding after an exclusive interview on KDKA Radio with Democratic Senate Candidate John Fetterman on “The Big K Morning Show” with Larry Richert and Marty Griffin.

The Republican candidate’s campaign said that Fetterman was not transparent during his interview that covered topics such as his current health status, stance of crime, claims of never having a job and avoiding paying taxes and more.

John Fetterman just can't stop lying to Pennsylvania voters about his radical and dangerous record on crime, his support for socialist policies, and the fact that he's never worked a real job and failed to pay his taxes. He's a fraud and Pennsylvanians are beginning to find out. He supported releasing 1/3 of Pennsylvania prisoners 11 times. He endorsed Bernie Sanders, socialized medicine, and parts of the Green New Deal, and he failed to pay his taxes 67 times. Not only is Fetterman a fraud, he's dangerous and wrong for Pennsylvania," said Brittany Yanick, Communications Director for Dr. Oz for Senate.

The Oz campaign pointed out to sections of the interview first taking on Fetterman’s time as Mayor of Braddock and his efforts to reduce crim.

I worked with the police department here in Braddock and we addressed the gun violence, and I'm so proud of the fact as mayor, we stopped the killings for five and a half years...we were very successful....,” Said Fetterman

The Oz campaign responded pointing to a Post-Gazette article from 2009 when some accused of ignoring his duties as mayor as he did national interview and also made claims of increased crime during Fetterman’s time in office.

The Oz campaign also took exception to Fetterman telling Larry and Marty he is not a socialist.

The Oz campaign used a quote from2018, when Senator Bernie Sanders said, “For more than a decade now, John Fetterman has been an outstanding progressive leader in Pennsylvania," and he went on to say how John Fetterman supports socialized medicine.
