“Black Friday” sounds a little dour for a summer sale.
So instead, retail giant Target has announced “Deal Days,” an online sale that runs from June 20 - 22.
Akin to (well okay, in response to) Amazon’s “Prime Day” sale, Target will offer deep discounts for three full days, during the same timeframe as Amazon.
Unlike Amazon, no membership sign-up is required. As Target's executive vice president and chief growth officer Christina Hennington said, "Our industry-leading, safe and easy fulfillment options deliver same-day joy, with no waiting or membership fee required."

According to Good Morning America, same-day delivery service is also available so that online shoppers can get their goods within just a few hours. Additionally, shoppers can utilize same-day in-store pickup or curbside pickup, a trend which looks like it might survive COVID-19.
And to keep you glued to the app, Target’s deals will be periodically posted and pulled, so shoppers will want to keep checking back for deals. Sneaky!

But don’t think they don’t appreciate your visits -- Target will be also offering digital gift cards to online shoppers with a 5% discount from June 16 - 19 for added savings. Target Circle members will receive 1% on all purchases, or 5% with the Target RedCard, to use on a future Target purchase.

The deals will extend to home décor, clothing, electronics, toys, and all other manner of home supplies. It’s Target, what don’t they have?
Plus, unlike their usual sales, even food and drinks will be slashed. Well, hopefully they don’t slash the plastic soda bottles, that would make a mess.
