ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A Twitter promise should never be broken. And one St. Louis Cardinals fan followed through beautifully.
Twitter user @QuinnSTLCards tweeted last week, just as the rumors about a deal for the Cardinals to trade for superstar third baseman Nolan Arenado were coming out, that "If we actually get Arenado I’m sending Mozeliak flowers."

Cardinals president of baseball operations John Mozeliak certainly held up his end of the deal. On Monday, St. Louis announced the five-time All-Star was coming to St. Louis in a six-player blockbuster deal. So it was time for @QuinnSTLCards to pony up.
He did. And the Cardinals confirmed on Twitter that the flowers did in fact arrive:
Let's treat these flowers as a gift from all of Cardinals Nation and not bog down the Cardinals front office with more fan mail. They might have a few more deals to make before Spring Training...
