ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis Police confirm they are searching for an escaped detainee from the City Justice Center.
The handcuffed, 32-year old detainee was being walked into the hospital by police around 1:30 Tuesday morning, when he ran and got away from police.
Police did not say what area the escape happened.
It comes as authorities are also searching for four teenage boys who escaped from a juvenile detention center in north St. Louis on July 3. Five teens overpowered some unarmed staff members and stole two cars in their escape. Only one of the boys has been caught.
