Police say the victim, a 20-year-old Black male, arrived at the intersection of Itaska Street and Nebraska Avenue to make a DoorDash food delivery, the suspect told the victim to meet him in the alleyway to get the food.

His vehicle was spotted early Thursday afternoon at N. Broadway and Calvary Avenues. The driver refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit to the 4500 block of Pennsylvania Ave., where the three men inside bailed out and ran off.

They were quickly caught.

During the chase, two police cars were involved in an accident. The officers were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
