
JEFFERSON CITY (KMOX) - There is one city in Missouri that can now say more than half of its residents are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Joplin, is officially at 50.2% vaccinated as of Monday morning, according to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Across the entire state, 44% of residents are fully vaccinated.
There are nine other areas with at least 40% of residents fully vaccinated:
Atchinson - 41.7%
Boone - 49%
Cole - 41.8%
Franklin - 44.1%
Gasconade - 40.3%
Jackson - 41.9%
Kansas City - 41.9%
St. Charles - 47.6%
St. Louis County - 48.2%
The City of St. Louis is at 38.8%.
Across the nation, 51.7% of people are fully vaccinated, according to the latest numbers from MayoClinic.org.
