Brian Douglas joined KNX as traffic reporter/anchor/airborne in August of 2016. He currently reports and helps you avoid and get around some of the worst traffic in the world during morning and afternoon drive. He’s also used his experience getting those affected by the wildfires out of harm’s way.
A graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, he majored in communications focusing on radio and television journalism. This eventually lead him to finish his schooling in London England where he worked for CNN and the British news outlet ITN.
Radio turned out to be his calling and Brian has been telling stories on the radio now for about 27 years. Some of his many stops include Z-100 New York, 103.5 The Blaze Chicago, Power 92 Phoenix, Star 98.7 and Country 93.9 both here in LA. He also hosted a national afternoon radio show on the Westwood One Radio Network for seven years.
Television called as well and Brian has been seen on many shows like Beverly Hills 90210, Charmed, Chicago Hope and was a featured personality on CMT’s Greatest series.
Brian can be found doing just about everything he can outdoors. He’s also a certified soccer coach and likes to get his heart going by running a mile or two every day—it’s his morning coffee!
He also loves to travel and has been to over 30 counties on four continents. He’s married and has a 17year-old son.
