Mike Simpson

Mike Simpson came to KNX News in 2015. Before moving to mornings he co-anchored the afternoon news and KNX In-Depth.

Born and raised in Northern California, Mike previously worked KFBK in Sacramento and KGO in San Francisco.

He’s covered everything from the State Capitol to wildfires to courts and crime. And he’s passed out in the back of a fighter jet — on a couple of different occasions.

Mike enjoys reading, fitness classes and hiking. He has a love for old BMW’s and even older airplanes.
