3 suspects wanted for $35,000 robbery of elderly Santa Ana woman

Santa Ana police asked for the public's help Wednesday in identifying or locating three men who broke into an elderly woman's home and stole more than $35,000 in money and jewelry.

The crime occurred on April 28 at about 7:15 p.m., according to the Santa Ana Police Department. Three men forced entry into a residence while an elderly victim was home, ransacked the bedrooms and stole approximately $35,730 in jewelry and U.S. currency, police said.

The suspects fled the scene in a light-colored van.

The first suspect was described as 20-30 years old with a thin build, wearing a Guess brand puffy black jacket.

The second suspect was also 20-30 years old, with a heavy build, wearing a Puma brand black hoodie, black Adidas pants with three white stripes and a white facemask.

The third suspect was 20-30 years old with a medium build, wearing black clothing.
