LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Authorities Tuesday are investigating the circumstances around what police believe was a car-to-car shooting near a smoke shop in Valley Glen that killed two men and left another critically injured.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a shots fired call just after 10 p.m. Monday at Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Victory Boulevard. The officers requested three ambulances to the smoke shop's parking lot near the scene, LAPD Officer Matthew Cruz told City News Service.
KNBC 4 reported one man was pronounced dead at the scene and police were interviewing possible witnesses to the shooting.
KABC 7 reported a second man died at a hospital and the third victim was in the hospital in critical condition. Video footage showed a BMW riddled with bullet holes in the parking lot.
There was no suspect description.
