San Bernardino (KNX) - Jackie and Shadow, the bald eagles in the San Bernardino Mountains, made famous thanks to the Big Bear Bald Eagle Nest Cam, laid an egg on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

According to the Friends of the Big Bear Valley, who runs the webcam showing the pair, say the eggs typically take 38 to 39 days to hatch.

This most recent egg is Jackie's first of the year and fourth fruitful year in the last six, laying in 2022, 2019, and 2018.

A nest cam was first installed in 2015 to capture the pair's home life.
