Body found in burned car in Woodland Hills

WOODLAND HILLS (CNS) - A body was found in a vehicle that was damaged by a fire Tuesday in Woodland Hills, and an investigation was underway.

Authorities went to Mulholland Drive and Rosario Road at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters sent to the scene found a vehicle on fire, and they discovered the body when they extinguished the flames, the LAFD reported.

Information on the identity of the person was not immediately available.
