
LOS ANGELES (KNX) – Los Angeles firefighters battled a blaze at a commercial building in Boyle Heights on Monday.

The fire was first reported in the 2800 block of East 11th Street around 2 p.m., according to KTLA.
Footage from KNX News reporter Pete Demetriou showed smoke billowing from the roof of the one of the buildings.
At least one building sustained a partial collapse, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Firefighters worked to extinguish the flames from outside the building, according the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The department said three firefighters encountered an electrical hazard and are being evaluated by paramedics on scene. At this time, they all appear to be in good condition.
According to City News Service, a fourth firefighter suffered injuries from falling debris, LAFD spokesman. All four firefighters were taken to a hospital.
The department dispatched more than 180 firefighters to the scene along with 19 engines and 13 trucks, an LAFD rep told CNS.
All active flames were extinguished in two hours. No other injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
