
Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman in the 2300 block of Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood.
The woman was found alive in the hallway of an apartment building, with at least one gunshot wound to her upper torso around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

The woman, whose name has not been released by LASD, was taken to a nearby hospital where she died of her injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to call the LASD’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. There is no known motive for the shooting.
