Police responded to the intersection of North Gower Street and Carlos Avenue following reports of gunfire at 11:10 p.m.

A man and woman, both 20 years old, were found with multiple gunshot wounds and later pronounced dead.

The woman’s two young children were found by officers in a car near the crime scene, according to Fox L.A. They were taken to the police station.

Police described the suspect as a “Black male between 20 and 25 years old” and 6’0 feet. He was wearing a white shirt and black pants.

While police are investigating a motive for the shooting, investigators believe it could be domestic violence-related.
