
One man is dead following an East Hollywood shooting near the intersection of Rodney Drive and Hollywood Boulevard. Witnesses told police the man was getting into his car when the gunman approached, firing several fatal rounds.
The shooting happened at 3:03 a.m., according to Officer Jeff Lee, with the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim, who has not been identified, was declared dead at the scene. Police continue to search for the suspect.
The shooting happened in front of U-Haul of Hollywood, not far from Cheetahs nightclub. Some reports have indicated that a fight between the two men broke out before the shooting. LAPD has not confirmed that information.
