
PASADENA, Calif. (CNS) — A 37-year-old man described by police as connected to a gang was arrested on suspicion of committing three shootings in the Pasadena area, police said Tuesday.
Detectives from the Pasadena Police Department's Robbery/Homicide Unit arrested Marcos Flores of Pasadena Thursday as they served search warrants at residences in Pasadena and Altadena, said Pasadena Police Department Lt. Keith Gomez.

During the searches police recovered a loaded firearm and ammunition, Gomez said.
Police believe Flores is responsible for a drive-by shooting Dec. 20 in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue, near Orange Grove Boulevard, a car-to car shooting Dec. 22 in the 1200 block of Summit Avenue, near Washington Boulevard, in Pasadena, and a shooting in the 100 block of Lotus Avenue, near the Foothill (210) Freeway and Colorado Boulevard, Jan. 19, in an unincorporated area bordering Pasadena.
No one was injured in the shootings.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office filed three felony counts against Flores for discharge of a firearm with gross negligence. His bail was set at $180,000.
