
LOS ANGELES (KNX) – Officers are searching for witnesses in a Chinatown hit-and-run that left one person injured on Friday.
LAPD Central Traffic Division shared footage on Twitter of a red car that backed into the Yale Street sign. The officer filming it said the car had been involved in a felony hit-and-run when the “driver backed up into the pole.”

The officer said the victim in the hit-and-run had minor injuries.
“Detectives have been in contact [with] the register owner who is not coopering with the investigation,” the department wrote on Twitter.
