One dead, several cars wrecked after FedEx delivery truck crashes in Cerritos

CERRITOS, Calif. (KNX) — One person has been reported dead after a FedEx box truck and several other cars collided Wednesday morning in Cerritos.

The crash was reported at around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and South Street.

Another driver reportedly veered across lanes and rear-ended the truck, according to L.A. County sheriff’s deputies.

A total of six vehicles were involved in the accident, according to L.A. County Fire Department officials. The identity of the deceased has not yet been disclosed.
