TUJUNGA, LOS ANGELES (KNX) – Police arrested a man they believe is responsible for more than two dozen car fires in the Tujunga area.
Video obtained by KNX News showed a man on a bike pull up next to a blue pickup truck parked on Greeley Avenue and lighting it on fire before biking away.
Richard Poquette, who owned the truck, told KNX News reporter Emily Valdez he had never seen the man before.
“Unfortunately, the person is real angry at the world and basically he just was taking it out in my truck as well as other people who've lost their property as well," he said.
Neighbors said there's been up to 30 cars set on fire in the area in the last few months.
The suspect was arrested moments later. His name was not released publicly.
