LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Authorities on Wednesday revealed the identity of a 14-year-old boy who was killed in a shooting in Boyle Heights earlier this week.
Jeremy Galvin of Los Angeles, a student at Roosevelt High School, was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in the 2800 block of East 2nd Street, across the street from First Street Elementary School.

Officers in the area heard shots fired at approximately 3:30 p.m. Responding to the scene, they found Galvin conscious but critically injured, according to The Los Angeles Times.
“There was some sort of argument between the suspect and the victim” prior to the shooting, said LAPD Officer Mike Lopez on Wednesday.
Galvin was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are continuing to search for the suspect shooter.
