Police seeking suspect in Hollywood Hills sexual assault

LOS ANGELES (KNX) – Police are searching for a man involved in a sexual assault in the Hollywood Hills.

On Sept. 17 around 6 a.m., a woman was walking near Bronson Avenue and Hollyridge Drive when the male suspect attacked her and tried to remove her clothes, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The woman fought him off and the man ran away in an unknown direction.

Police described the suspect as white, curly blond hair, blue eyes, and 6’0 feet. Surveillance footage showed the suspect masquerading as a jogger prior to the assault.

Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect, or any witnesses or additional victims, was urged to contact LAPD’s Operations-West Bureau, Special Assault Section, at 213-473-0447.
