Officers booked the Grammy nominee at the Hollywood station, setting bail at $50,000. He is expected to post bail and be released quickly, ABC7 reported. The news outlet said no one in the department anticipated him walking into the station.

Tyga’s former girlfriend, Carmaryn Swanson, posted pictures of injuries, including a black eye, to social media Monday, accusing the rapper of “emotionally, physically, and mentally” abusing her.

The social media influencer also shared a video of her bruises to her Instagram story and text messages, attempting to dispute claims she showed up at Tyga’s home.

TMZ reported the 22-year-old woman arrived at Tyga’s home screaming erratically sometime around 3 a.m. Monday. The gossip outlet alleged the rap star hit Swanson while arguing after he let her inside.

The couple began dating several months ago but had reportedly broken up, said Yahoo News.
