BEVERLY HILLS (KNX) – Beverly Hills police are searching for five suspects in a smash-and-grab at a jewelry store Tuesday afternoon.
It happened at Luxury Jewels of Beverly Hills on the corner of South Beverly Drive and Charleville Boulevard, according to City News Service.

Beverly Hills Police Lieutenant Giavanni Trejo told KNX that the five suspects were seen getting out of a vehicle holding what looked like sledgehammers and proceeded to use those to break the store's front window.
"The suspects then removed property from a display case that was near the window and fled on foot and out of the area," Trejo said.
Video shared to social media shows the suspects running from the store with the items in had, although police have not yet shared the estimated value of what was stolen.
In an interview with ABC 7, the store owner said the robbers got away with between $3 and $5 million worth of jewelry — with one necklace valued at $500,000.
Police described some of the suspects as wearing hooded sweatshirts and surgical masks. No one was hurt during the robbery.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
