With a following of over 3 million people, TikTok influencer Jackie Gansky is using her platform to help a local homeless man and his young children build a sustainable future.

Gansky met Hugh and his three sons while they were sleeping in their van at a West Hollywood park, suffering through the record-breaking summer heat.

She told KNX reporter Nataly Tavidian, "I was playing tennis at a park, and when I was walking back to my car, I saw this family all in their car."

After learning more about their story, with Hugh's permission, Gansky and a friend got the family a motel room and set up a GoFundMe page that has reached $77,160 in just nine days.

The long-term goal is to raise $150,000 so Hugh and his boys, ages 3, 5, and 6, can get on their feet.

Gansky said, "Since then, we've been able to really just change their life and it's been really incredible."

The family is now living in an Airbnb. They have a TV, books, toys, and Hugh says the help has cleared up space for him to look for work, sign his boys up for school, and find a more permanent living space.
